Beschreibung der Veranstaltung:

Help, the authorities have asked me to get a passport. What do I have to do now?" Many refugees are faced with this question. The extent to which you are obliged to cooperate in obtaining a passport, however, depends on your residence status. The workshop focuses on people with a Duldung.

We will take a closer look at the legal obligation to cooperate with the authorities: What are the implications of cooperation and non-cooperation? We will also discuss what kind of acts of cooperation might be unreasonable or simply impossible. In addition there will be room to speak about individual dilemmas that come with the obligation to obtain a passport for a person with a Duldung.

The workshop is primarily aimed at refugees and will be held in English. It will be held with Zoom and participants will receive the link one day before the seminar. Please make sure your internet connection is stable and check whether you can follow the workshop including a presentation on a suitable screen.
